The Jonas Brothers: Toronto Tourist Attraction!

The Jonas Brothers get swarmed by a mob of fans as they leave their hotel in Toronto on Friday afternoon (September 3).

DID YOU WATCH CAMP ROCK 2 THE FINAL JAM?

Joe dished to MTV about the second film, “I think overall the production and the music were definitely on the next level. The staging was phenomenal for the film. We were always filming somewhere different. Every other day was a new location. For us, that was really exciting because for the first one we stuck to about three different sets, and this time probably having 15, 16 different sets, for us, that was really exciting.”

PSST, Road Dogs will play the Marquis Jet Flyers on September 12th.

Alyson Stoner Shares "Camp Rock 2" Set Secrets

Last night was the premiere of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” and one of the movie’s stars, Alyson Stoner, was also watching!

During the East Coast broadcast, Alyson tweeted along with the movie sharing some fun set secrets. We’ve listed them below so you can see if you can spot what she’s talking about in some of the scenes in tonight or tomorrow’s rebroadcast. I know I love learning behind-the-scenes facts from movies.

Did you watch the premiere? What did you think of the movie? “Camp Rock 2” was definitely a hot topic on twitter last night as various references to the movie were trending. Let us know what you thought of the movie, and make sure to tune in again tonight at 8pm EST on Disney Channel and/or tomorrow night to catch the movie again.

-#1: The scene at Camp Star’s first performance was filmed at about 1 o’clock in the morning when it was around 35 degrees!!!
-#2: All the dancers and band members in the “Fire” performance (besides Chloe Bridges and M. Dot) are from Canada.
-#3: Trivia! Chloe Bridges (Dana in CR2) played Zoey on the sitcom Freddy!! We’re honored to have her as a new member to the gang!
-#4: During “Brand New Day”, Anna and Demi had to add band-aids to their shoes because of blisters. Ouch!! The price of beauty!
-#5: “Can’t Back Down” was shot in the same studio where they filmed the horror movie, “Saw”…. Watch your backs!
-#6: The cast and dancers hid candy bars and cookies underneath the butter trays on the tables in “Can’t Back Down”. Mmm.. sweet!
-#7: During the montage, look at Kevin J. He’s building a birdhouse!! Remember that from CR1?
-#8: The dance routine I was teaching is actually choreographed by Aja George (Step Up 3D) and me… I taught it at a New Jersey masterclass!
-#9: This scene between Shane and Mitchie on the lake is the same location I filmed Cheaper By The Dozen 2. Ironic!!!
-#10: Where you see Axel, Luke, and Tess spying on us was actually a place paparazzi hid to snap photos across the lake!
-#11: “It’s On” Sooooo many spiders and bees on the wall where Tess and Demi sing Verse 2. Gross!!
-#12: Because of the rain, they rearranged the schedule, and moved Demi’s big speech scene a lot earlier. She learned the script on-the-spot!
-#13: Half the water balloon fight sequence was shot at 6 a.m. The other half, right before sunset!
-#14: Trivia! When Shane and Mitchie argue… did you catch her saying, “This Is Me”…? Oh, hi there, song from the original Camp Rock. ;)
-#15: Shane and Mitchie’s duet is so beautiful!! But, did you see their breath in the icy air? Summer weather… I think not!
-#16: The cast played volleyball on the sand near Nate and Dana’s conversation on the shore. None of us will be going pro anytime soon.
-#17 I wore hair extensions (yes, fake hair) during dance performances since my natural locks would lose their curl. Watch! It grows!
-#18: The host from “Hitz TV” is an actual famous Canadian host!! And, I wish I had her hair.
-#19: The audience is filled with actual CR and JoBro fans! Thanks for stickin it out in the cold, everyone!
-#20: Matthew M. Dot Finley had heating pads stuck all over his body (under his wardrobe) to stay warm while filming “Tear It Down”.. brrr!
-#21: To stay warm, I’m wearing 5 layers of clothing during Camp Rock’s Final Jam performance. Demi’s in a dress!! What a warrior!
-#22: I accidentally spiked a beach ball in someone’s face. Sorry, friend. It wasn’t personal. I got caught up in the moment! ;)
-#23: We filmed two endings with each camp winning so the crowd wouldn’t know the real story!
-#24: The cast and crew hid behind bushes to watch Shane and Mitchie’s special scene.. we couldn’t miss it!
-#25: “This Is Our Song” was the last shot of the night… we finished the final take 30 seconds before it started raining. Perfect timing!

Jonas Brothers light up teen dreams
To paraphrase a line from The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again, meet the old JB who once was the new JB.

In a year where the new JB - Justin Bieber - has been nothing short of "swaggerific" in terms of popularity and ticket sales, the old JB - Jonas Brothers - almost seem dated.

But that hasn't stopped them from cashing in as was the case during the first of two nights at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre before a near-capacity crowd of shrieking young girls Thursday evening.

Over the 90-minute set, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas looked a tad more reserved than previous tours that saw them frenetically working the stage when not doing the odd back flips and kicks. On this night, it appeared to be far more about pacing, with a few of them taking breathers while Nick Jonas had his spotlight moment with Who I Am.

Regardless, the Jonas Brothers - who managed to plug the hell out of their new film Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam with ads, posters, t-shirts and several mentions - were seamless early on with Feelin' Alive and the punchy dance-rock of Hold On drowning out the mind-numbing screams.

Working on a stage that featured three catwalks jutting into the audience, laser lights, a large video screen and a temporarily malfunctioning dry ice machine, Jonas Brothers polished off Year 3000 and Play My Music before delving into new songs from the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack. Heart And Soul featured several dancers behind them (including two fans) while Introducing Me had Nick Jonas rapidly delivering the three-minute song in under 137 seconds to win a bet with brother Joe.

The middle section had its miscues but was highlighted when opener Demi Lovato sang with Joe Jonas on I Wouldn't Change A Thing, a tune Faith Hill and Tim McGraw might consider covering at some point. And after covering The Beatles' Drive My Car, they nailed L.A. Baby as younger brother Frankie Jonas, 9, sang with Kevin and played tambourine.

After looking around at the dozens of home-made posters the young fans were proudly showing - something the new JB reportedly wasn't allowing at his Air Canada Centre show last month - Jonas Brothers hit a rough patch with a hip-hop segment that was basically filling time. Dancers and a deejay came onstage as Nick and Joe emerged in costume, the latter resembling a youthful Andre Agassi with long locks.

Occasionally letting fans take over the lead vocals, Jonas Brothers started to wrap things up with the piano-driven Fly With Me, a song which had the trio suspended on a small platform looking down on the crowd. From there the power ballad When You Look Me In The Eyes and Please Be Mine (which showed baby photos of them on the video screen) led into an odd '40s-era backdrop with four dancing couples for Lovebug.

Returning for the encore which ended with Burnin' Up - and enough pyrotechnics that would make Nickelback somewhat envious - Jonas Brothers left the fans temporarily forgetting about that other JB.

Jonas Brothers are back for Disney's 'Camp Rock 2'
The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are back to lead "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," a new film packed with songs, a love story and a rivalry with another camp.

The many twists and plot lines in the film, which airs Friday night at 8, make up for a shortage of the real heartstring-pulling moments that made the original "Camp Rock" a sweetheart of a film.

The setting is again Camp Rock, a summer sleep-away for budding rock stars. A lot has changed since we last met the heroine, Mitchie Torres, played by the delightful Demi Lovato.

Lovato shone in the first film as the shy, clumsy girl with a powerful voice, and she returns to camp more confident than before.

When viewers last saw Mitchie, she and troubled rocker Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) were singing eye to eye. In a Disney film that's about as close as they can get to actual romance.

This summer, Shane and his two musical brothers (played by Kevin and Nick Jonas) stop by Camp Rock during a break in their concert tour. It seems that Shane wants to get to know Mitchie better.

She, however, is soooo consumed with planning a sing-along showdown with their rival, Camp Star, that she doesn't have time for Shane.

Wow, where did the magic go? It's like they're married.

"Camp Rock 2" is a better ride for Jonas fans. In the first film, Nick and Kevin, arguably the more talented brothers, were shoehorned in. Here, they're full-fledged cast members, with lots of good lines, cute inside jokes and performance time.

Even Frankie Jonas, known as the "Bonus Jonas," is here.

Nick, not Joe, has the love story in "Camp Rock 2" when he falls for a girl in the rival camp. But this couple's relationship never nears the intensity of Mitchie-Shane in the first film.

"Camp Rock 2" is as squeaky clean as you'd expect a Disney film to be, and that's okay. It's a formula that works well with the target audience, who will hang on every moment and hum along with every song.

But what is surprising is the lack of a real heart.

Sure, there are moments when viewers will root for the Camp Rock crew - like when they face the other camp in a televised competition (a nod to "American Idol"). But there's very little of that will-they-get-together stuff that had viewers rooting for the characters and made the first "Camp Rock" an uplifting emotional ride.

"Camp Rock 2," instead, puts all the focus on the group, rather than its main puppy-love tale.

That one story challenge aside, "Camp Rock 2" will be a hit with the Disney crowd. There's no doubt the soundtrack, featuring songs written by the likes of Kara DioGuardi, will be a big seller, too.

There's very little a viewer won't see coming, although there is one twist that signals that losers can be winners, too.

And surely with "Camp Rock 2," Disney has another winner.
